### Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health issues.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and community resources, to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Facilitate psychoeducation sessions to empower clients and their families with coping strategies and resources.
- Advocate for clients within the community and assist them in accessing necessary social services and support systems.
- Stay current with best practices in the field of social work and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and interns, providing guidance and support in clinical practices as needed.
### Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid LICSW license in Washington, DC.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based interventions.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Empathy, active listening, and a non-judgmental approach to client care.
### Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in specialized therapeutic techniques (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, etc.).
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competence in clinical practice.
- Knowledge of local resources and community services available to clients.
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish or another language is a plus.
