Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies to foster resilience.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Technical Skills:
- Active and unrestricted LICSW licensure in the state of Maryland.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Empathetic and culturally competent approach to therapy.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple client cases with professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications such as Certified Clinical Social Worker (CCSW) or certification in a specialized therapeutic modality (e.g., EMDR, Play Therapy).
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
- Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
