Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs to develop personalized treatment plans.

  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective results.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies to foster resilience.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Active and unrestricted LICSW licensure in the state of Maryland.
    • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Empathetic and culturally competent approach to therapy.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple client cases with professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications such as Certified Clinical Social Worker (CCSW) or certification in a specialized therapeutic modality (e.g., EMDR, Play Therapy).
  • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
  • Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
